Being Free, Being You, Simplicity

Time to tell you my story

I am passionate about freedom, transformation and simplicity… being free to be who I am, living a life free of clutter, whether it is physical, mental, emotional or spiritual clutter… free from everything that restricts me being me so I can live a transformed life full of meaning and simplicity, the life I still dream of living.

My story is a story about overcoming insecurity, fear, inadequacy, overwhelm, disorganisation, living without purpose and direction (and a lot more!)… and becoming free!

I spent my life trying to live for others, trying to do things the way others do, and wanting to be like them, because I thought they were better than me.

I grew up not knowing what love was, and that translated to me not feeling accepted for who I was. I spent my life trying to earn love, acceptance, and approval, always comparing myself to others. However, I seemed to always fall short. I was never enough.

I was tired of being stuck with my insecurity and feelings of imperfection. I knew that there had to be a sense of freedom somewhere, the freedom to simply be me. It wasn’t until I took a flying leap and had the courage to break free of my insecurities and fear that I finally began to accept myself for who I truly was.

Now, I long to help other women find themselves because I know what its like to be lost. Because I have found this level of freedom to be me, I am passionate about helping others do the same.

In 2012 I gained my professional life coach certification with International Coach Academy, an international coach training school based in Melbourne, Australia. ICA coach training courses are accredited with International Coach Federation who are the international governing body for life coaching.

I also became a Certified Christian Coach with Life Breakthrough Academy in 2013.

Armed with all this education and my wealth of personal experience, I feel qualified to help other women undergo the most important transformation of their lives and gain the courage to be themselves.

Today, I am happily married to an incredible man who has always let me be me, and I’m a mother and a grandmother. I enjoy organising, time management, planning, dancing, playing games on my iPad, spending time with my husband, family and friends, and helping other women gain the courage to pursue their life’s dreams, uncover their purpose, and blissfully live their best life.

This is my story, and this is why I love what I do, why I write this blog, and why I became a life coach. I don’t want to keep all this to myself, I want others to experience the freedom I have, and so whatever I can pass on is yours!!
